Designing my dad’s business website was one of my first full, independent web projects — and it meant more than just showing off what I could do. I wanted to help his business grow, so I focused on clean layout, user flow, and mobile responsiveness. I handled everything: domain setup, SEO, layout design, and content integration. It was a real test of both my technical and creative skills.
What I learned most was how to think like a client. I had to balance aesthetics with function, simplicity with professionalism. It showed me that good web design isn’t just about what looks nice — it’s about solving real problems and making information accessible. Seeing the final site live (and helping his brand in the process) was one of the most rewarding things I’ve done.
